Meet Our Pastors
Senior Pastor
Dr. Mike Dunn serves as our Senior Pastor. He and his wife Shari live in Oakboro and have two daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandsons. They also have hosted a total of 15 international students, so they have 'kids' from seven countries around the world.
In addition to serving First Baptist Stanfield, Pastor Mike also teaches Bible at Concord Academy.
Pastor Mike graduated from Wingate College, received his master's degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and earned his doctorate from Liberty University.

Worship Pastor
Todd Harris serves as the Worship Pastor. He and his wife, Jennifer live in Oakboro, NC and have one daughter, Tenley. Natives of Western Stanly County, the Harrises have served in several churches in Stanly, Cabarrus, and Union counties, including 13 years at FBC Stanfield.
Pastor Todd works for Mecklenburg County Government Human Resources as a Talent Acquisition Consultant.
Pastor Todd graduated from Stanly Community College with an associate’s degree in business administration and UNC Charlotte's School of Professional Studies’ MPA Public and Nonprofit Management Academy.

Youth Pastor
John Giles is the Youth Pastor at FBC Stanfield. He and his wife, Christie, live in Unionville. They have a son, Tucker, and two daughters, Mollie and Ellie.
John is employed full time as a planner/ scheduler for Duke Energy.
Pastor John believes the youth are not only the future of the church, but they are vital to the church now. He desires to help the youth know Jesus, understand why and what they believe, and be able to defend their faith in today's times.
